Santiago del Dardano Turann was born in April of 1968 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He grew up in rural Butler county. After a period of wandering he finally settled in San Francisco, California. He does not have a college degree and has worked blue collar and retail jobs his whole adult life. He only began to write poetry in 2006. Since beginning to submit work in 2007, the majority of the poems on this site have been already been published either online or in print journals. All work is to be considered copywritten by the poet. It may be reproduced with attribution to Santiago del Dardano Turann. N.B. The exception are those poems found on the 'SHINIGAMI' thread.
